Hello all — today is my kickoff for STUMP’s annual Movember fundraiser!

The Movember Foundation funds research and support around men’s health issues, with a particular focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health.

Motivation

In 2017, my husband Stuart (the STU portion of STUMP (I’m the MP portion)) was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.

As of 2023, he has to have additional radiation treatment as the cancer continues. It's going to be lifelong treatment as his cancer is currently incurable, but treatable.

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
