STUMP on substack

Trying out a new tool

Due to a reader email (thanks, Oliver!), I’ve set up a substack for STUMP. I will still be doing my hugelong posts on stump.marypat.org, which should populate to substack. I will be testing that out, but it may be bumpy for a little bit before I figure this all out.

I plan on playing around with substack-only posts, where I share some of my recent non-blog activity, and things I’m reading that I think readers may find of interest.

Library of Congress: By the People, virtual volunteers transcribing documents — I’ve transcribed and checked some transcriptions from Rosa Parks’s own letters, which was interesting and didn’t take a lot of time.

I have enabled paid subscriptions, but the only special features paid subscribers get (for now) is the ability to post comments on the substack site. I do intend (for now) for everybody to get the same content otherwise.
